Gorad Factory Platform

Inspection, machine data and quality apps on one platform that runs inside your plant. Start with the app you need most, and add others later without replacing anything.

How it fits together

Three layers, one system

Vision and Connect bring the data in. Apps turn it into decisions. The core is shared.

  • One web application: simple screens for operators, detailed screens for engineers
  • Each app keeps its own data and shares results as standard events
  • Runs on its own on the machine network, or on a site server for several lines
AppsQuality · Production · Compliance

Add apps as you need them. They share one login, one audit trail and the same plant data.

Gorad VisionInspection

Fail-closed visual inspection with a PLC handshake and signed programs.

Gorad ConnectMachine data

Reads PLCs and meters and turns tags into standard events.

Platform Core

What every app shares

One login, one record of changes. A new app never means a new system to learn.

One login, many roles

Operator, supervisor, engineer, quality, maintenance and admin, checked on the server for every request.

Offline licensing

Licences activate without the internet. An expired licence never stops inspection or the machine signal.

Your plant, mapped once

Site, area, line and station are set up once and shared by every app.

Audit trail

A permanent record of every configuration change: who changed what, and when.

Shared events

Apps exchange standard events, so adding an app never means re-wiring the others.

Updates and backup

Updates, backups and restores from the browser. No command line needed.

Why Gorad

How Gorad differs from a smart camera, a custom integrator project or separate tools.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Which PLCs does Gorad work with?

Gorad Vision and Gorad Connect talk to PLCs over Modbus TCP, Siemens S7 and OPC UA (as a client). EtherNet/IP and an OPC UA server are not available today.

Does the platform need the internet or a cloud account?

No. Everything runs on-premise, and an air-gapped plant can run it fully offline: the licence activates offline, and programs, updates and backups move by USB from the web interface.

What happens if a camera or the software fails during inspection?

The part is rejected. A cycle is OK only when every expected view reports OK; an error, timeout or missing view produces NG. The result is written to the journal before the PLC output.

Can we start with one app?

Yes. Each app stands on its own and shares the platform core. Most plants start with Vision or Connect and add SPC, NCR/CAPA or Line Performance later on the same platform.

Is the platform ready for production?

The Factory Platform is in early access. Every app is built and tested in software, and the pilot programme proves it on real stations before general release.
