Gorad Traceability · Compliance & logistics

Find every affected part, fast

Answer “what happened to this part?” in seconds. Each part’s journey is recorded from receiving to shipping, with its inspection results and machine data at every station.

The problem

When a problem is found, nobody can say quickly which parts, batches and shipments are affected, so the recall is either too big or too small.

Early access

Built and tested in software, not yet proven on a plant line. Available to pilot plants.

How it works

Traceability, step by step

  1. Every step is recordedLots are received, parts and assemblies are built from them, assemblies ship. Each link is scanned or recorded by Vision and Connect.
  2. A problem is foundA bearing lot turns out to be defective. Quality flags it.
  3. Follow it downstreamOne query walks the genealogy and finds every part, assembly and shipment built from that lot.
  4. Recall only what is affectedThe recall report lists exactly what to hold or recall, and what is clear.

What it does

What Traceability does

Receive, build, ship

Lots in, work in progress, shipments out, with parent-child links between items.

Scan as you go

Barcodes are scanned at each step, including with a tablet or phone camera.

Inspection linked

Each item points to its Vision results: station, cycle and views.

Process data linked

A snapshot of the PLC values at the time, from Gorad Connect.

Recall scope

Flag an item and see everything upstream and downstream of it.

Reports

Ready to share

Recall report in PDF and Excel.

Advantages

What changes with Traceability

Recall only what you must

See exactly which parts, assemblies and shipments are affected.

Inspection evidence per part

Each item points to its inspection result and camera views.

Process data per part

A snapshot of the machine values when the part was made.

Fast capture

Scan at each step, including with a phone or tablet camera.

Nothing is lost

Records are never deleted, even after shipping.

Rules it keeps

Built to stay honest

These rules are part of the app, not settings.

  • Nothing is deleted. Shipped items stay on record.
  • Repeated scans change nothing.
  • An item can never become its own ancestor.
  • Every record shows how it was captured: scan, Connect, Vision or by hand.
On the platform

Works with

  • Same login, roles and audit trail as every Gorad app
  • Runs inside your plant, with offline licensing

Questions

About Traceability

How is data captured?

By scanning barcodes, by hand, and automatically from Gorad Vision and Gorad Connect. Every record shows how it was captured.

Can records be deleted?

No. There is no delete. Shipped items stay on record for as long as you need them.

Do we need Gorad Vision to use it?

No. Traceability works on its own. With Vision, each part also links to its inspection images.

What does the recall report show?

Everything upstream and downstream of a flagged item, in PDF and Excel.
